I use this seat for a shower with a step-over threshold not for a tub. It works pretty well so far, and the shower curtain slot is helpful.I am a bit nervous using it . The specs say the weight limit is 400lbs. I'm around 200lbs, but I do feel the frame flex a bit (given its long length and I'm a tad worried its tiling -- could be my imagination). Actively looking into what it would take to support the bench better just in case.
