Solid machine but needed some work before I could get good results. One plastic stuck on metric scale was 3 degrees out from centre. The second scale centre decal had fallen off. Solution replace with better metric scales . Second problem is the slide that holds the saw blade. It is so undersized I could get a 20tho (>54mm)feeler gauge in the gap . The side play movement was not helping the setting up or grinding. Simple shims have solved that problem. The third problem was the aluminium slide itself. The underside had been machined so when is use the table supported it on one direction but when rotated there was a large overhang which meant the saw blade was getting less support. I blanked some of the cut out which cured the problem. Is it a good tool ? No, not straight out of the box. Now after playing I am very happy with it. Is it worth buying? Yes but you might have to play a little bit.
